Women & money transformation stories at Gaining Ground!

It was empowering to know that I can meet my needs myself. Even though the bank balance always existed, I never knew if it was sufficient. After financial life planning, I knew what my “rich” is. It was a crucial lesson to understand that we don’t need lots of money to be rich.. we need enough to meet one’s needs/wants.. once the goals are met, the surplus is richness. Coming from a middle class background, my mind was conditioned to think that I needed more and more money without knowing how much I needed. I felt calm upon realizing that my goals and finances match up.

It has also impacted my confidence levels as I can make more informed decisions about my finances without the fear of being fooled. Thanks, GG.

Frankly, I don’t think of money as just numbers in my bank statements.  My relationship with money has evolved now. I associate it with my identity and goals, which has become a means to live a better life.

My relationship with money changed drastically after the financial life planning exercise with GG.

We are happy to share the real-life story of the Money Transformation of one of our women clients. She is young and intelligent and works with an MNC semiconductor company. Her day job is challenging as well as rewarding. We helped her to make sense of her wealth.

Our detailed process helps women take control of their money and give them clarity and confidence in their financial future. The conversations and our one-of-a-kind surveys assist in thinking and reflecting on their current and future stages of life.   We ask questions, listen, and understand their emotions as they revolve around their goals, investments, fears, and anxieties. We jointly build their Vision board, giving them clarity, confidence, and much-needed control.

Another sharing by an independent women thinker, ideator, millennial, and UX UI designer moved us beyond words as she was naïve enough about money and investments.

“As a working professional, investing is an option to build my net worth. There have been times in the last three years when I’ve reflected on where I want to be in the next five, ten, and 20 years. Make no mistake; when it comes to investing, I understand my privileges and the support system around me. The clarity of having my goals well defined, the clarity of where I want to invest my money, and the freedom to do it has only made me feel more empowered.

In the last year, there have been a lot of learnings regarding investments. In the past, I’ve been extremely conservative with my investments. Things have changed significantly in the last two years. That I’ve been able to achieve some of my goals, and I foresee achieving several of my goals with regular investments, I have the peace of mind that allows me to focus on other aspects of life.

As I sit down to pen this, the thing that’s become extremely clear to me is that money, for me, is an instrument that allows me freedom, allows me peace of mind, and allows me to be financial independent, something I value a lot. The gains I’ve made through investing have only helped me improve the quality of my lifestyle and tide over choppy waters with relative ease.”

Sharing these real-life money stories fills our hearts with warmth and joy. We have seen that provided the proper guidance, little hand holding, and more support, Women reign in on their Money Life. We so wish more women come forward and empower them to have such inspiring stories.

Happy Women’s Day!
