Are you rich or do you just have money? Frank Sonnenberg,

We all desire to earn more money. The lure of more money endures. What is enough is not in the dictionary or it isn’t easy to draw lines.

Personally speaking – Getting stable, having a promising career, building some trajectory – I was also into
it. Over the years, I evolved with each money story I came across. It’s bliss to help my clients make sense
of their wealth and guide them to achieve their Life Goals.

MONEY IS EMOTIONAL; I’ve said that many times. We all seek it. After seeking wealth and guidance on
wealth for two decades, I finally realized that it’s not everything.

My beliefs became stronger when I lost my mother, and my father was left alone. He is a respected businessman. He earned enough and more, which he could spend. These days, His health is beyond medical cure, and chronic ailments are getting more complicated. Being with my father closely and what I observe is this: what matters most is something else, SOMETHING MORE THAN MONEY.

What Matters more?

  1. Friends – few trusted ones
  2. Network – different social circles from different walks of life
  3. Purpose – finding your why
  4. Health – Being fit and maintaining health

Money is essential — no denying that. I realized that when we work on earning more money, we need to
keep an eye on the above four necessary things that matter.

One needs to have a farming-like attitude while cultivating friendships and building networks. You
cannot build friends and networks in one day. It is impossible to find your purpose unless you work on
yourself and your profession.

Above all this, I would say, HEALTH IS THE CORNERSTONE. Good health leads to good physiology, which
leads to good emotions and, in turn, to good thinking. Good thinking leads to good behavior. That’s the
simple formula explained by Dr. Alan Watkins in his Ted Talk. ( Link: https://bit.ly/3CLLdBl)

When you only work for money, you may reach that pinnacle, but after getting there, if you turn
back and look, you may realize that what you’ve earned is not the only thing you need.

This Warren Buffet quote says it all. In a time of need, you can not buy care and affection with money. What love, family, and friends bestow is the real earning one does.

Cultivating friends, building a network, finding your purpose, and maintaining health are my absolute learning. I am getting this wisdom after ticking one life goal and working on my own goals, money-wise and health-wise. It’s a small attempt to bring these points to you and say it’s not only money, silly!
